Flood Recovery Major-Lockett Family

One of the worst natural disasters occured mid August in Baton Rouge, LA. Three days of unexpected, continuous rain fell, measuring 25-30 inches. Who would have thought that one of Mother Nature's most  precious gifts would cause so much destruction and devastation to so many. Yes, I am speaking of the unexpected flooding in areas that were not designated as flood zones or wet lands in my home town. My niece and her family fell victim to this tragedy and lost everything. She and her husband have 4 children ranging in ages 10, 6, and 4 years old (fraternal twins). They did not have flood or renters insurance, so  they are not covered for any  their damages. I am reaching out to solicit donations on their behalf which will go toward purchasing basic necessities, personal needs, and affordable housing. No donation is too small.
