Chief Meeker's Medical Expenses

The Oneida City Police Benevolent Association (PBA) is currently accepting monetary donations on behalf of Chief Meeker, to help cover mounting medical costs.
Chief David Meeker Sr. is the Chief of Police of the Oneida City Police Department in New York State.
He is a highly respected and loved commander, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend.
He began his career in law enforcement with the Oneida City Police Department in 1981. During his tenure Chief Meeker progressed through the ranks and chain of command. In 1989 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In 1998 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. In 1999 he was promoted to the rank of Chief of Police, where he has remained since.
Unfortunately, during the summer of 2016, Chief Meeker unexpectedly fell ill and was hospitalized in the ICU at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. After some setbacks, he has now been transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he is undergoing extensive physical and occupational therapy.
However, the insurance company has recently denied the coverage of the much needed intensive therapy. Therefore, Chief Meeker and his family are currently responsible for the costs of the rehabilitation and therapy. These unexpected bills are costly and quickly adding up.
After sacrificing so much to serve the community for over 35 years, Chief Meeker and his family need some help. Please take the time to donate. Every little bit helps.
Rest assured that all proceeds will be given directly to Chief Meeker and his family to be used towards the medical bills.
