Hello, everyone.

I’m reaching out today to share the story of my fiancé, Steven — or as some of you may know him, Esteban or Wess. Many of you already know Steven as an incredible father, friend, son, brother, uncle, and nephew. But most importantly, he is my life partner, the man I’m so fortunate to have by my side.

Steven is the type of person who would do anything for anyone without hesitation. He’s incredibly selfless, which is why I’m making this GoFundMe without his knowledge. As much as he’d never ask for help himself, I know that he’s facing a lot right now, and I want to step in for him.

In a few weeks, Steven will be donating his kidney to his younger brother, who has been battling kidney disease. This is a life-saving act that will give his brother more years to live and more memories to create. But as selfless as this act is, it also comes with significant challenges. Steven will be out of work for 6-8 weeks during recovery, and with the cost of bills, rent, and travel for the surgery, it’s been a lot to manage.

On top of everything, we’re expecting a baby in July, which only adds to the pressure. So, I’m asking for any donation, no matter how small, to help relieve some of the financial burden during this time. Your support would mean the world to us and will allow Steven to focus on his recovery and supporting his brother without the added worry of financial stress.
