Arturo Alvarez Funeral

On January 9th at approximately 12:30 am we received the tragic news that my baby brother had a fatal car accident at 9 pm on January 8th, 2021. Arturo was only 21 years old, a happy person, his laugh was infectious. He will be missed by many but will live in our memory forever. 

We thank our family and friends for all the condolences and prayers that have helped us heal during this difficult time. We have received an abundance of questions on the burial and unfortunately at this time we are waiting for an arrangement date. Arturo will not be able to get buried until the end of February or early March. It is definitely a difficult time here in Los Angeles with the amount of COVID cases.

As soon as we have an update, we will let everyone know. 

Once more, Thank you everyone for your condolences, prayers and all the support we have been receiving. My family and myself are very thankful. 

El 9 de enero aproximadamente a las 12:30 am recibimos la trágica noticia de que mi hermano menor tuvo un accidente de coche a las 9:00pm el 8 de enero de 2021. Arturo solo tenía 21 años, una persona feliz, su risa era contagiosa. Muchos lo echarán de menos, pero vivirá en nuestra memoria para siempre.

Agradecemos a nuestra familia y amigos todas las condolencias y las oraciones que nos han ayudado a sanar en este momento muy difícil. Hemos recibido muchas preguntas sobre el entierro y, por desgracia, en este momento estamos esperando una fecha. Arturo no podrá ser enterrado hasta finales de febrero o principios de marzo. Definitivamente es un momento difícil aquí en Los Angeles con la cantidad de casos COVID.

En cuanto tengamos una fecha nosotros lo sabremos saber para que nos puedan acompañar.

Una vez más, gracias a todos por sus condolencias, sus oraciones y todo el apoyo que hemos recibido. Mi familia y yo estamos muy agradecidos.
