Hello all and thank you for helping me get back on my feet after my accident. I am currently recovering from intensive surgery from breaking both of my heals. OUCH!!! I am on bed rest and wont be walking again soon, this Spring I hope!
How you ask??? The injuries occurred from a bad fall while on vacation in Japan. Bummer right? The healing process has been incredibly painful and extensive, keeping me from any physical work, most social interaction and every day mobility. I am stuck in bed through the winter, what fun! Nara is taking care of me full time, so I am getting lots of TLC <3
I have been hesitant to reach out for help during all of this but currently find myself unsure of when I will be able to return to work bar tending. Since other means of making money have been limited, and our savings are running out, I'm creating this campaign to help offset upcoming rent, bills and medical expenses through the remainder of my recovery period over the next few months. Every dollar donated is going to keeping the roof over our head, the heat on, food on the table and the medicine and therapy I need to get me back on my feet! We appreciate all you have to give.
I know that donating money isn't always an option for everyone, so if you'd like to help in other ways here are a few alternatives that would still help support:
1) Need any graphic design work or know someone who does? I have been working as a freelance designer/illustrator for the past 3 years and am always open to new paid work. Please share.
