UPDATE: HATE TO BOTHER YOU YET AGAIN. HATE IT!! But if anyone was considering about donating to Kona's situation but forgot, I have to ask you to consider donating----whether it's you personally or a friend, group you belong to (book group, religious group, dog group, dog park attempt group, work--whether it's coworkers or human services office who often contribute to groups because it's a write off, your vets, hobby groups--photography, beer groups, writing, etc.) KONA had his operation (THANK YOU!!!!) but continues with eye ulcers, meds, follow up appts, oncology follow up meds and exams (200.00 lung scans every 3 mos., toe nail meds--his nail fell off and f/u md for this, double ear infections from antibiotics and double ear yeast infections, f/u apts and meds). So sorry to bother you. Also consider sharing this to anyone. Thank you.
My dog is my life. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old and would carry him around in a cat carrier. Now he's sick. He's registered as my therapy dog.
He has a tumor on his face and two eye ulcers that haven't healed. He needs two surgeries. One to have the tumor removed. One to have the eye ulcers fixed. Due to his conditions he's been on a ton of meds and seeing specialists which has been quite costly. Now the operations, additional 3 specialist appointments (150.00 a piece) and post meds are additional expenses.
This money will be used to help cover the cost of his operations, medications and depending on the amount raised, all of the above. I do need the funds as soon as possible. If, by some miracle, I exceed my goal it will all go toward his past 1.5K of medical bills prior to the surgery (pcp visits, dermatologist visits, opthamologist visits, surgeon visit, Cushings disease test, and a host of meds).
I have severe fibromyalgia, daily migraines and other conditions I won't go into. I'm on disability as a result and cannot work. The point is, between my medical debt and his costs, it is incredibly financially challenging to the point where my friend just came by and put food in my empty fridge.
This has nothing to do with Kona but just showing you the level of debt I need my car working to get me to my and Kona's doctor's appointments. It needs multiple repairs that will cost around 700.00. This is just putting my whole story out there.
Anyway, I swear he is intuitive, when I feel really sick, he comes and sits with me and puts his head on my lap. He's an old soul and means the world to me. I'd take a bullet for him in a heartbeat.
See updates for additional information, invoice information, etc.
I am grateful for your donations and taking the time to read this and even donating. Please say a prayer to the deity of your choice :-) .
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
