medical fund for broken ankle

I have created this GoFundMe account to ask for your assistance in covering medical costs for surgery on my severely broken ankle. I have been unable to work for quite a while due to other health issues. My husband was injured on the job 18 months ago and is on Worker’s Comp awaiting surgery. The income he receives from Worker’s Comp barely covers our basic living expenses. There isn’t enough left over to pay for health insurance, even through Obama Care. We do not qualify for financial assistance because while Florida considers Worker’s Comp benefits as income, the Federal Government does not. We do not qualify for Medicaid because we do not have children and I am not 62. In official governmental terms, we are considered GAP people. We have been unable to find a physician who will perform the surgery at either a discount or as pro bono work. If I don’t have the surgery to repair the damage to my ankle, I will end up crippled for life. Any funds contributed via this site will go towards the surgery so any amount you are able to give will be greatly appreciated. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but with God all things are possible. God bless you.
