Hello Everyone,my name is Juanitra (Nickie) Williams, I am a disabled veteran for twenty years. I currently live in San Diego,Ca with the care of my mother, who is a stage four cancer patient. My mother has cared for me here and in Tucson,Az for the last twenty years. She has been married to my stepfather for twenty-three years, but have not been able to live together because of caring for me and other ill family members. My wish is to move my mother and myself back to Tucson,Az so she can finally be together with her husband. Since I am completely bed bound and need twenty four hour care, our home in Tucson must be completely modified for me to live there.We can no longer afford to live in California and must move by July 2022. The expense of moving and adapting our home there is more than we can possibly save for. we can get a little help from the VA, but not enough for all my handicapped needs for the home. My dream is to see my mother happy once again with my stepfather in our home together as a family. They have sacrificed so much for me and I would like to give back to them.
