Colleen Doyle: A Woman Of Love!

Hello! Our names are Séamus and Patrick Doyle and we are the lucky sons of two of the best parents anyone can ever ask for. Our Mother, the beautiful Colleen McCann-Doyle and Father, the hardworking handsome devil himself, James Edward Doyle, are two of the most selfless, humble, hard working human beings ever to walk the face of this Earth.As some of you may know, our Mother suffers from a horrible, chronic debilitating disease called Scleroderma. It is defined as a chronic hardening and contraction of the skin and connective tissue, either locally or throughout the body. Unfortunately Scleroderma effects very strongly the lungs, heart, esophagus, and digestive system. Sadly, in the past few months, our Mother's physical health and mobility has continually and progressively gotten worse as the disease itself is progressing. Not to mention the horrible symptoms she has been suffering as a result of the disease attacking her heart and lungs like never before. This has resulted in endless sleepless nights for the entire family. As we overheard our parents talking late at night (so we wouldn't get upset) about finances and the products she is going to need to rely on when our dad goes to work (he is a merchant mariner and is away for several months at a time to provide for us all) and how they were struggling to come up with a way they were going to afford these mobility products in addition to college and high school tuition plus our Mother's medication, we looked at each other and put the little bit of money we had from summer jobs away: turns out that little bit was way smaller then we even thought. This broke our heart and worried us like you couldn't even imagine. So, we decided why not create a Go Fund Me page even though it would surely not go over well with our parents at first. We are trustworthy young men who care about the peace of mind of both of our parents to fight for my mother's life. It is a battle every single second. Is it stressful on us? Sure, but we can handle it because we are a strong family who knows how to fight and survive.We are just worried about my father going back to work for several months worrying about us all in every way possible. Our father absolutely HATES leaving us, but he has to provide for his family. Please IF you can, please consider donating to our family to help provide sufficient mobility products in order to assist our Mother. This would make it less stressful for us to afford her life saving medicine, as well as high school and college tuition. She is totally and completely reliant on a wheelchair now for all activities.
