Trying To Get Back To Work
Donation protected
After this awful turn of health, I am finally trying to get back to work. Until then, any donations help me get by until the give me the okay to go back to work.
Thank you for everyone who has been there for me through this rough patch!
I was diagnosed with POTS in 2007. (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)Basically my blood pressure drops when I stand up and my heart rate increases causing fainting spells. I had thought it was a one time thing since I hadn't had any episodes. In December I started having issues with it again. Ended up blacking out at work. Went to the ER and was checked out and released. Hoping it was a one time thing, I continued on with my life. The beginning of January, it came back full force. Have had several episodes of dizzy spells and passing out. Ended up in the ER once again and kept me in the hospital for a few days. Went through several different tests while in the hospital, all seemed to come back normal. But still having issues with my blood pressure and episodes of dizziness and passing out. I am seeing a great cardiologist who is trying a few different medications that hopefully work, but if not may need a pacemaker. I have been unable to work since this all started and as you can imagine, the bills are piling up. I am not one that enjoys making my personal issues (health or financial) to public, but really hoping that we can find something that helps with my medical condition and that may help others out there with the same issue. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for your support.
