Patrick "Pat" William Kassahn ,74, departed this life on August 19, 2016 while doing a job he loved in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 8, 1942 in Jamestown, California to Theodore and Audrey Kassahn. He was raised in Crawford, Nebraska until he met Martha in a police car in 1961. Six months later Martha and Pat got married on May 27, 1962 in Chadron, Nebraska. Pat and Martha would listen to "Never Ending Love" by Roger Douglass. Pat then went to Western Nebraska Vocational Technical College in 1970's. Pat and Martha moved around a lot until they settled in Utah in 1990. They took in around 350 kids over the years. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his son Michael L Kassahn. He survived by his wife Martha F Kassahn. His sons Patrick W Kassahn "Jr" and Glenn A Kassahn. And his daughters Sheila Velarde (Marty Velarde) and Kathy Herrington (Alan Herrington). Nine grandkids and numerous great grand kids. He will be remembered as an electrician, motel owner, truck driver, security guard, and most of all a loving husband, family member, and friend.

Service is 3 - 4 pm and a potluck after in cultural hall in Foxboro LDS Ward
