Help Gaus,Bohol, Philippines Typhoon Rai-Odette

Less than 24 hours ago in the Philippines, December 16 (Philippine time), one of the worst typhoons slammed our province of Bohol. Typhoon Rai/Odette was a category 5 storm with maximum sustained winds of up to 121 miles per hour and gusts up to 168 miles per hour. It made its 5th landfall in the town of Pres. Carlos P. Garcia where the island of Gaus is one of the barangays. Gaus island is where my grandparents lived and where my mother grew up. I also spent my summer/Christmas vacations there as I was growing up. I love the island and I love the people. 

Every year for almost 10 years, my family always gives back to the island and its people by giving in any way we can (meals, food, clothing, donations, etc.). This year, I need your help. Please consider donating to help the island recover from the ravages of the storm. My wish is to help them as much as I can and provide food as they rebuild. These people are the poorest of the poor and rely on the sea for their everyday meals. All their fishing boats are surely damaged. If I can just let them not think of what they would eat for even one day. That would be a great accomplishment.
