On August 20, 2016 a fun day at the lake tragically ended when my oldest cousin Nicholas Barba was hit by a car and killed in front of his three children Nick Jr, Alexander, and Delilah. He was 35. Our whole family is devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of our Nick. He leaves behind his wife and HS sweetheart Jeanette and their three teenage kids. He was my cousin, my brother, my friend. Since childhood, he always protected me and our other cousins, as he was the oldest.Now it's our turn to make sure we do whatever it takes to take care of his family during this difficult time. I'm asking for any donation possible to help fund his final expenses, but more importantly to ensure Jeanette, Baby Nick, Alex, and Delilah don't have to worry about their finances during their time of grieving. He loved music, his Ecuadorian heritage, his NY Mets, but most importantly his family. He ended every conversation with me with "I love you bro, remember family over everything."
