Flood Insurance Deductible for Fly

My name is Gary Overby from Independence, Louisiana.
We just went thru the worst flood in history. I was very fortunate that my home was spared. Thank GOD!!
However, I have 2 seperate family members that lost their homes and everything they owned.
I spent this weekend helping to cleanup after this disaster.
Mike Overby - 65 years of age is my oldest brother who is planning on retiring soon lost all of his personal possessions and has to replace all his appliances, floors and walls in his home to make it livable again. He has Flood insurance but the deductibles are high $2500. He lives in Watson, La. just east of Baton Rouge, La.
Mrs Carol Weber is my sister in laws mother, who is 88 years old and on a limited income. Water reached the 7 ft level in her home. She has to replace all her appliances, floors and interior walls in her home. She too has flood insurance but because of her limited income she had to go with higher deductibles in order to afford it. Her deductibles are $4000. She lives in Denham Springs, La., Just east of Baton Rouge, also.
Both will needs these deductibles with in 8 weeks.
I love both of the these people with all my heart and if I had the funds personally to give them I would. But I figure if all family, friends and acquaintances kick in we can help these wonderful people back to normalcy faster.
I will be eterally grateful for any help you can provide. And above all please keep all of South Louisiana in your prayers. There are a lot of people hurting in this area.
