Louisiana Flood Relief

Brittany and I want to do something. We are a family from South Louisiana who's heart aches for those affected by the flooding. We have "adopted" 3 families that are close to us The Botos', The Hulsey's and The Luziers. Some are family and others are dear friends. All three family lost most if not all of thier belongings. The plan is to supply them with Home Depot/Lowes gift cards with your donations. The Money will be split evenly between the families. Thank you so much for your donations.
In an effort to remain transparent GoFundMe has asked that we provide some additional details about ourselves and this campaign.
Who we are: Micah and Brittany Davis.
Where we are from: Baton Rouge and Mandeville, LA but now live in Georgetown, TX.
How we know the people: I went to college with Ben Botos and was around when found out they were pregnant with Marcus! The Luziers are Brittany's cousins. Travis Hulsey and I went to high school together.
How will the funds be spent: We are going to purchase home depot and walmart gift cards to be split evenly between the families.
Withdrawls plan: We will withdraw the money periodically to purchase more gift cards. Today I will use our own money to purchase the cards until the funds are available to us. I will be withdrawing the money directly and using the funds to purchase the gift cards.
Delivery plans: We are leaving today, Friday 8-19-2016 to drive to Louisiana and hands the gift cards to the families directly.
