My name is Nu'Nauvia Peacock and I am a Junior Education Studies Major at the illustrious Spelman College from Brooklyn, New York.

I was given the opportunity to study abroad with my school and travel to Cuba. Here I will visit schools and learn about the country's education system as it intersects with political and cultural structures. This will be a great opportunity for me because going into the educational field, this not only sets me aside from other people it also broadens my global view of education. As a junior, this will be my last opportunity to travel abroad with Spelman College and meet my global experience requirement.

The total cost of the trip is approximately $4,350
This breaks as such
-$3,050 for hotel accommodations, 2 meals per day, travel in Cuba, English speaking tour guide, program fees, site visits, reading material, and tour guide/bus driver gratuities.
-$700 for charter flight, visa, travel and medical insurance, and airport taxes
-$300 for food, local travel and incidental
