Adam here. So unexpectedly we lost our father. Needless to say, we are completely devastated. Our loving father who was bound to a wheelchair gets to run and use his legs again up in heaven. On August 20th, our father went to the hospital unbeknownst to us initially. After finding him at the hospital, my three younger siblings went to visit and apparently pick him up. Every time my Dad has gone to the hospital, we know hes alright and able to come home. This time was different. Not only was it extremely difficult to get him in his wheelchair, he was completely out of it with his eyes rolling back. They sent him home thinking he was alright. They put 3 litres of fluids in him as he was extremely dehydrated. This is extremely dangerous for someone with Congestive Heart Failure without draining fluid from them afterwards. Which is what happened to my Dad. My uncle checked him at 4am to make sure he was alright. He was. When he checked on him at 9am in the morning, he had already passed and rigomortis set in. Meaning he had been dead for hours. In this time of desperation, sadness, confusion, grief and heartache........our father didn't leave a will or have a life insurance policy. Leaving us, his 7 children with the burden of trying to raise money to give him a proper burial for the amazing life he lead. We're trying to come up with the money but need some help from our family and friends. If you're able to give just a tiny bit, we would be forever grateful and indebted to you. For everyone that knew my Dad, he was an amazing kind hearted loving man who always loved to share in a story or conversation. Thank you all who are able to give and not just with money.............but with stories and memories with Craig Folkes as the leading role. Words cant express the loss we are feeling right now. With prayers and good thoughts being sent our way, it really helps us a lot to know you all are thinking of us. Thank you guys so much!
