Upon graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary in May, Trinity Fellowship Church in Dallas asked if I would pray about going with them to Rwanda in November to teach Bible Interpretation. I immediately knew this was an opportunity to use my seminary education in order to influence the Kingdom of God worldwide! But...
I can't do it alone!
WHO? Seven women from Dallas will be leading the Women’s Leadership Training Institute (WLTI) hosted by African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM), an evangelical organization that began after the 1994 genocide. The conference is comprised of 50+ women who are leaders in their churches and communities across the country.
WHAT? Teaching on the topics of Bible Study, Bible Interpretation, and HIV prevention.
WHERE? Kilgali, Rwanda.
WHEN? November 4-13th.
WHY? We hope to empower women to influence their communities and churches for Christ by equipping them with the skills necessary to understand and be transformed by Scripture.
HOW can you help? Partnership!
PRAYER: For our students: That God would transform them and that they would effectively handle the Word of Truth. For our team: That the Lord would use us in the transformation of people's lives and that we would be both prepared and flexible in our lessons. For me: That my heart would be sensitive to God during my preparations and find joy in getting to share the Word. Pray also for guidance for my future during this trip.
GIVING: Many of you supported me during my last few years of seminary, so I ask you if you feel lead, please support me again.
