Our Flood Survival Fund

Hello, my name is Michael Whitlock and my wife's name is Leanne. We are an animal loving family from Denham Springs Louisiana. We recently escaped the Great Flood of 2016, but lost our home (6feet of water),Veterinary Clinic (8 feet of water), car and Jeep (underwater) We did manage to rescue our animals, most of which we had to leave with another Veterinary Clinic nearby. Unfortunately that clinic took on 2-3 feet of water as well. By the Grace of God all our animals survived. However, as of now, we have no way to go get them, nor a place to keep them even if we could. We have been denied help by FEMA because we had an Insurance policy that covered the structure of my home only. We had no contents coverage. FEMA does not cover businesses. Therefore, we are homeless, without any form of income, and do not know what we are going to do about the debt we had so vigorously been trying to pay down.  Your donations will go a long way toward helping us cover living expenses, make minimum payments to keep credit cards current, and aquire help in gutting our house and clinic to prevent mold growth.  We never thought we would be in this position, but we direly need your help.
