It is with a grieving heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Katelyn Fischer at the young age of 21. Katelyn became ill earlier in the week and within a day was rushed to the University of Penn hospital in Philadelphia and placed in critical care fighting for her life. With her liver dying she was placed on a ventilator and soon after was receiving dialysis for her failing kidneys. Moving to the top of the donor list for a new liver, the family received the call that they have found a donor. The hospital then tested Katie's heart to make sure she could handle the procedure. Sadly she had passed away before she could receive her new liver. Katelyn was an organ donor herself, so even in her passing, she helped save the lives of others. We lost such a beautiful angel in the prime of her life. When Katelyn came into a room, her infectious smile would help brighten up anyone's day. Her love for family and friends was second to none.

So many hearts are broken through this life changing tragedy and many people will never be the same because of it. As you know, the cost of a funeral is expensive, as well as the heavy medical expenses. Help me support the Fischer family with some of these burdens they are faced with as they begin to pick up the pieces and rebuild their shattered lives. But most importantly, let us not forget Our Beautiful Katelyn. Please help!!
