Dangerous Black Mold: Tano's Mom Needs a Safe Home

My mother-in-law, Mercedes, can no longer live in her home. It is dangerous, unsafe, and simply uninhabitable. It's an emergency, and my husband Tano and I are doing our best to help his mom. I promised him that I would create a Gofundme to help us try to raise the rest of the money we need to get her a new, safe home, and I'm hoping you might be able to help.

Mercedes' home is full of dangerous black mold. There is a house right on top of her home (its floor is Mercedes' roof). It has been abandoned for three years now, and during that time, no one has been taking care of the property--and no one can enter it. It is in total disrepair. Every time it rains, water enters Mercedes' home -- the water goes through the roof and permeates the walls.
This problem is not "fixable." The mold can't just be removed because the moisture is literally in the walls and roof, and it's eating away at the structure of the home. The walls are literally crumbling apart, as you can see in the video, and the concrete holding up the house is being eaten away. Apart from the obvious health issues with the mold, her house is in danger of collapsing. It is truly uninhabitable and beyond repair.
The government won't help, so Tano has been saving up to buy his mom a small house or apartment. But this has become a real emergency, so Tano is looking for a house right now . There are no mortgages there--you have to buy a house in cash. Tano can contribute most of the cost, but we are asking for a little help so he can get his mom a safe new home.
