Hi my name is Sejal. My ex has been physically and mentally abusing me for 2 years. Which I have been hiding for so long from everyone. I kept forgiving him and always thought he would change and do better. We have a 3 year old daughter and he would ask her did mummy take you to the park, or did she have someone in the house. He always accused me of cheating even though I never cheated ever in the 7 years we were together. He has smashed me into a glass banister which broke on holiday, punched me, dragged me around, hit me, kept a baseball bat in the house. He checked my phone gallery to see I was where I was in the day, had a hidden camera in the house. Gauged my eyes, accused me of sleeping with random people, friends, could be anyone. He would wait outside my mums house to see if I was there, read all my messages, ask who sent a gif to me, checks emails and listens to voicemails.
It is alot and I just always believed in the good and ultimately I had to leave. He called my mum in a threatening way accusing me of cheating again and threatened to take my daughter from nursery. This was the final straw. I need to rebuild and feel power and strength for my daughter I have been left financially with nothing. He got arrested last week and did not get bail. He is in remand until next month and pleaded not guilty

even though he was charged with 8 offenses (6 assaults - ABH, common and beating, 1 coersive control and 1 damage to property). I need to show my daughter this is not right.
A medussa tattoo symbolizes female power, strength, and resilience, but it can also represent overcoming adversity, transformation, and even protection from harm. It is used as a symbol of protection from the evil. I associate this with survivors of assault, representing strength, empowerment, and journey of healing. This would really help my healing as I see and heal this way. So any help from anyone is really appreciated.
