Help Tandy and Denise Recover

Hey all, I put together this gofundme for my brother Tandy and his wife, Denise.
The short story is, late evening, on August 7th, someone, drove their car at Tandy and Denise's bedroom, intending to harm Tandy and Denise as they slept.
The good news is, that Tandy and Denise were both physically unhurt. Denise had just left the room, and all the debris miraculously fell everywhere but on top of Tandy. Tandy was trapped in the room, however. While dealing with the shock of being asleep one minute to a car crashing through wall behind him the next, he smelled gas fumes leaking from a ruptured pipe. Tandy, for a moment thought the end was here, until a neighbor came and pulled him to safety.
Tandy and Denise have lost their home, but worse than losing the structure, they had their American Dream of Peace and Security in their home space shattered.
Those that know Tandy and Denise, know that they are some of the best human beings on our planet. Strong spirited, generous, extremely mechanically talented, very intelligent and almost always smiling.
Tandy has likely worked on your car, or consulted you on some mechanical problem, or you are close to someone who he has.
Their garden, feeds not only him and Denise, but friends, family and neighbors. Then, when they can't find enough people to give it to, they donate hundreds of pounds of fresh produce to the local homeless shelters each year.
All that, despite surviving an accident that left him paraplegic.
Despite being hit by a car in a crosswalk that claimed the life of his canine best friend, Chevy.
Despite fracturing his skull, losing an eye and most of his teeth while helping test and recover a dune buggy he built from the frame up.
He even broke his leg in 2 places while mowing his property's yard last year, but insisted on finishing the job before going to the emergency room.
Tandy won't be down for long, his warrior spirit will push him to recovery. But, in my opinion, however long it takes him to get right again, is too damn long. Tandy has been a positive force in so many peoples lives, putting far more good into this world, than this world has given back.
Frankly, I'm calling on those who have been touched by him and Denise to open your wallets and help speed his recovery to normalcy. Get them back to the place of peace that we all enjoy in our own homes.
