Hoyne Family Medical Help
Donation protected
This is for my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. Many friends and family have asked how to help them out during this difficult time, so I set this up for those who would like to contribute because they are too proud to ask for help.
For those who don't know their story: Nick and Heather got married February 14, 2015. After half a year of marriage, they found out they were pregnant with their first child. On May 4, 2016, their daughter, Lydia was born. Three months later, Nick was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. While this type of Leukemia is treatable, Nick is facing a life-time of medication and tests. The first six months of treatment will be very hard for them finicially. Not only are they adding a monthly treatment cost, but Nick will go weekly for tests to ensure the treatment is working and not attacking his heart or other organs. Even with health insurance, their facing a medical bills every week. On top of all of Nick's health issues, they are caring for a three month old infant and paying off labor and delivery costs. Nick works full-time and is also a full-time student, while Heather is a teacher (#GFMtoSchool)-- so they are in no way equipped to take on such a huge fincial hit.
I know they will appreciate any help that is given to them. Thank you in advance for your contributions to this. We hate to see them go through such an awful situation, especially since their family was just beginning to take shape.
