Matias Vara & Son vs LA Flooding
Donation protected
My name is Linda Graciale, I live in Georgia and I'm setting up this account for my nephew and his son, who have been affected by the flood in Loiusiana . My nephew Matias Vara and his son, who is 17 months old, live in Prairieville Loiusiana and are temporarily homeless and because of the flooding is unable to go back to work. He says they are fine, but they are in need of the basics for daily living. He's lost everything, his home, and all their belongings. As the news has repoted, most are homeless, without clothes, shoes, etc...only what they could take at a moments notice, and sadly, some have lost their lives. He considers himself fortunate and so do we. Our hearts break for him and his son, and all of those in the same situation. We can't imagine what they are going through. Matias's mom put together some necessities for him, calling as many family and friends in Georgia, at a moments notice, so we could donate money for clothes & basic necessities, to send to him, and supplies for his community. His brother is delivering a tow behind trailer for him to live in temporarily until he can save to buy a house. Other supplies are being delivered to the Lamar Dixon Expo Center for the Parish community he lives in. His mom figured, it wasn't alot, but every little bit would help my nephew and his son, as well as his community. His parents thank everyone who was able to donate at a moments notice.
All proceeds from this gofundme page go directly to him. Every amount donated, counts and is very much appreciated. Your generosity will forever be remembered by those of us who love him and are trying to help him. He also has a generous heart and is helping any way he can while he's not working.
We ask anyone reading this page, to please keep him and those affected by the flooding in prayer. His family thanks you wholeheartedly, in advance, for your generosity and prayers.
