I am headed to Louisiana this weekend to visit family and I'm itching to help the displaced animals in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Being pregnant, I'm limited in how much I can volunteer at the shelters, since I can't lift anything over 20 lbs and I shouldn't be exposed to chemicals. 

So, I'm setting up a fund so that I can buy supplies and donate them to the shelters in need. Dog and cat food, metal bowls, collars and leashes, wire kennels, etc. are still needed. I'll post pictures of the process so that everyone can see their donations making their way to the animals who need them.
