WE LOVE OUR DAD...
When I look back at my life there isn't a moment in time where I don't have a memory of my dad in it. My dad's name is Stu Gourlay (Omar to some) he is currently battling stage 4 follicular lymphoma and has been for the last 3 years of his life. The chemotherapy the oncologists have been giving him has stopped working, and for the last month they have been trying him on some experimental drugs to try and keep his symptoms at bay. But none of it is working and his symptoms are back... His lymph nodes are increasing in size, his lungs and abdomen are filling back up with fluid, his energy drained from his tired body, and he again is starting to lose weight. He is running out of time and options... There is a treatment in Mexico that will be my dad's last chance at trying to kill his cancer and I am asking for your help to fund it. The treatment uses B17 injections (Laetril) and the cost is between $7000 and $9000 usd just for the treatment alone. My wish is to make things easier for a man who has spent his life making things easier for everyone else. My dad is an amazing man and he is far to young to not be around to see his grandkids graduate, fall in love, get married, and have babies of their own. I refuse to accept this and will do whatever I can to help him fight. I am asking for your help in giving us more time with our father, husband, papa, brother, uncle, and friend. Dad if you are reading this I love you and I am so very proud to be your daughter. Don't ever give up fighting we are all right here with you... Thank you in advance, the whole Gourlay family.
