Maria is a loving wife and mother of four young children and was seriously injured in an ATV accident while doing errands during the Trek, a reenactment of Pioneers traveling across the plains in 1840's. She was unconscious and unresponsive when found, swift medical intervention and EMS care likely prevented additional injury. She was air-evaced to Flagstaff and is being treated for traumatic brain injuries. She had surgery during the night to relieve pressure from swelling and bleeding (around, not in her brain) It is not known yet what long term issues may arise. Your prayers for Maria and her family are very much welcomed and appreciated. If you are able to help their family with a small donation that too would be appreciated since she is hospitalized 100+ miles from home and will remain there for an unknown length of time.
