Drugged And Robbed Left For Dead

This is my nephew Jason Reid he is a good kid, has his own Business called Century Designs Inc, he went to a club on a Friday night at the end of May, he brought home a girl they poured two glasses of wine. She apparently poured something into his glass when he went to the bathroom, he returned to drink some of his wine, they were watching TV and he had turned on his fire place. The next thing you see in his video surveillance from the Garage into the kitchen is her turning on the lights, and headed up the main stair case, she goes up and down a few times, then she appears to be going in his pockets. She leaves and doesn't even shut the door when she walks out, Jason is not found for 83-85 hours later by his God send of an employee who calls 911 and Jason is taken to the Hospital unresponsive and his body is in distress, his Kidneys were failing he developed blood clots and had severe brain damage. The Doctors at the Hospital were telling his Father my brother to put him in hospice care to end his life as they felt he was never going to recover. My Brother and I had a conversation and he agreed to give him 30 days to see if there was any improvement. The Doctors thought to tell him it might be harder then as you would have to pull the feeding tube and starve him to death, not what you want to hear when you are praying for a miracle. We my brother and his wife were by Jasons side every day his friends came to see him and people he worked with, on Home designs, Jason began to slowly move his finger of his right hand. I was so happy for something positive, then he opened his eyes. I was very Happy about that. One friend after another came in and he would mouth words like on girl he mouthed the word hey Mama. Jason had another friend and his brother Jeremy making him laugh and laugh at there stories and jokes. Jason was moved from ICU to the critical care unit, then to Rehab. He had his tracheotomy removed at rehab, and then his feeding tube. We continued to see small improvements in his ability to speak, move his right hand and his right toes while at Rehab. Then we got Bad news Jasons insurance Blue Cross and Blue Shield that he had been paying for since he was 21, REFUSED to pay for another day in the rehab, the rehab Doctors pleaded with the Doctors at Blue Cross and Blue Shield that he was getting better and needed more time. The insurance said No so Friday July 29th we were discharged and sent home. He was going home because of no good reason other than the insurance would not pay, and they would not pay for him to go to any facility at all. The insurance said he was not making enough progress, but the nurses and doctors thought he was a miracle and making fantastic progress. My Brother works and I am retired, so I told him I would take care of him, along with my brothers wife Charlotte till he progressed enough to take care of himself. He ordered the medical equipment to have him in my brothers house. Jasons new home that he had finished 2 days before this robbery happened, was sitting empty while he was in the living room of my brothers home. We did the best We could to keep his Physical therapy going Charlotte and Robert would stretch his legs, and I would help Jason stand and walk with the assistance of his brother. We kept seeing improvements everyday. We didn't hear anything from physical therapy for out patient for almost two full weeks, then they came but they had no equipment so that was of little help. I continued to stand him up and stretch him along with Charlotte. I asked Jason what he wanted to do and he said go home! Jason continued to get depressed and as he became more aware of his situation he was getting sullen and not speaking. I thought that Jason would do better at his own home and possibly get into his office and see what he could remember. His first couple of times in the office and home were met with challenges stairs, and he was overwhelmed trying to remember how to do his work. time passed and we turned his phone back on he got a call from this guy Don B and he was asking for his plans, Jason told him sure a week, I took the phone and said hold on. I spoke with him and Jason began to remember how to do some work related stuff. Jeremy his brother is great at the computer so he has been helping Jason, and worked on one real estate PDF file for a client. He called his friend Danny who came over and looked over the plans with Jason. Danny took care of the remaining work to be done and sent it to an Engineer for finalization. Jason let Don B know. Jason is getting better and needs help until he gets better it's only been since May 28th, I am here until he gets well enough to begin his life anew.
