Michael Cunningham Flood relief

Our very dear friend, Mike Cunningham some may know him as UGO, has been devestated by the floods that have hit Louisiana this past week.  He & his mom were evacuated along with many of his neighbors who have lost so much. He has 3 feet of water in his home & others have up to 5 feet!!  He has returned home to clean & rebuild. This is a friend who has always done for others without a question.  He was with us during Katrina, & this is so much worse for him & his community now. This storm had no name & it showed no mercy on this area. 
He sent me this message:I have to humbly admit that this situation is too big for me to be all steadfast and independent. His parish has been deemed 70-80% of all homes & business are impacted.  Strange that there was no wind, just a steady rain that lasted for 5 full days & nights.
He gets great comfort in knowing that his friends from all over the country are sending him well wishes and emotional support. He needs are help now He has friends that are in the area that are joining him & his neighbors, some that have lost everything, to clean & rebuild. They had no electricity for days & the clean up has been overwhelming. Imagine the heat with no A/C & filthy water through out the homes, mosquitos are horrible & no bleach available to clean the walls. They are tearing down walls to get rid of the filth & muck.
His friend Robin Chambliss is organizing people & supplies & running back & forth to his area.  Please help us to help our dear friend.
