Taylor Family Flood Relief Fund
Donation protected
Dear All,
Due to the recent flooding in East Baton Rouge Parish, my daughter's family was forced to evacuate Sunday morning at 3am with only 20 minutes to spare before being caught by the rising waters. They managed to make it out in time but had to leave all their possessions behind. After 4.5 hours of driving they finally made it safely to my home in Covington, which normally takes an hour and half to drive.
The flood waters remained in the house for several days and all of the contents inside the house were lost. My daughter, Danielle and her husband, Andrew along with their two kids Amalie, 6 years, their son, Liam 1 year, and their cat, Blues are now in the cleanup and demolition process and eventually recovery. They could use any assistance and no donation is too small.
Danielle and Andrew are LSU graduates and have lived in the Baton Rouge area for nearly 10 years. Andrew currently works at LSU National Center for Biomedical Research and Training. Danielle is employed at Baton Rouge General. Amalie is a first grader at the University Laboratory School. Liam enjoys his days at Colorwheel Daycare.
Even though their possessions were lost they have each other to remain strong in order to get through these trying times. Their faith will see them through to rebuild and create new memories.
All donations will go directly to the Taylor Family.
Sincerely,
Lisa Galan (Danielle's mother)
