For our dear friend, Sam

dear friends & family of sam,

i'm maria, a high school classmate of sam's. i was floored to hear of sam’s passing just two days ago. it’s very difficult to process that information. death seems like such an abstract concept still and i wonder what can or should we do to remember sam and commemorate his life.

i've started this fund in memory of sam and will send all funds to his family to use towards his memorial, a donation in his sam's name, etc.

it is but a small contribution but i feel like it’s the least we could do as a parting gift for a dear friend who has contributed nothing but kindness and joyful moments to our lives.
