On January 14, 2016, I lost my High School Sweetheart in a tragic vehicle accident, In Roseville, Ca.
Raquel and I met in 2009 and quickly fell in love. My girl "Rocky" was the most compassionate and loving person one could ever meet. She grew up in foster care and was able to over come insurmountable obstacles without it ever getting her down.
Her most important priority was bringing together, as a family, her younger brothers and sisters. They were in multiple separate foster care homes around Sacramento. Rocky was only 23 years old with a life full of promise. She leaves behind myself and seven younger siblings that she absolutely adored. Raquel was an angel called home to soon!
Rocky and I were married in November 2015 in Colorado Springs while I was serving in the military. We relocated back to Citrus Heights to be near our family. As a young couple, we were just getting on our feet.
She worked in home health care and was wonderful and caring for the infirm and aged. Everywhere we went Rocky made friends. They too grew to love her very quickly because of her true love of people!
Whenever she was needed, she always gave a helping hand. She had few wants in life. I am asking for donations to give my love the proper goodbye she so deserves.
