In 2014 I was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease in which the white blood cells in your body attack your body tissue. After years of medical malpractice and misdiagnosis, I am faced with the conclusion that I have to get a total hip replacement at the age of 28. (Due to the medication they gave me to fight lupus) The financial challenges I am facing as a result of my upcoming surgery consist of a few medical bills that are not covered by insurance. Since I found out, I have worked harder than ever, hindering the movement in my hip as well as deteriorating the bone even more. Since this will put me out of work for a while, I feel the best thing to do is reach out for support. I am confident with the help of friends and family and my positive attitude that I will be back to my old self again and can finally live a normal life. No more limp for this guy! Better yet, no more pain!
