My name is Robert, better known to many as Torvaldr the leatherworker. The rear roof of my house is leaking into my laundry room. This section of roof doesn't get much sun, so moss grew into the shingles and ate through the tar paper. Insurance won't cover this because it is considered normal age and wear. I have gotten a number of estimates, and they all come back at around $5000. That is more than I can handle, and getting a loan is difficult due to the fact I am on Disability.
