Hi all,

As most of you may know, our good friend Jeff was involved in a motorcycle accident. We went to see him today, and he's in pretty bad shape. A car in front of him made an illegal u-turn without seeing him behind her, and backed right into him. He shattered his left tibia right under the knee and had to be rushed to a trauma center. He underwent some surgery to put a plate, some screws, and some pins in to repair the damage, but he's looking at a decent amount of recovery time.

We all know what a good guy Jeff is, and thankfully his personality and big heart are still intact. It could have been much worse, but he's going to be out of work for a while. We wanted to set this up for him to hopefully ease the burden of the medical bills, as he doesn't have much health insurance, and being out of work so that he can focus on getting himself better.

Chances are Jeff's done something for you at some point, no matter how big or small, so let's step up and do whatever we can for him while he's down and out. He'd give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it, and this could be when he needs us the most.
