Arena Flood Restoration Fund

Donation protected

I'm Chris Landry reaching out to you on behalf of my sister and her husband, Pat and Phil Arena. They have suffered great loss in the August 14th Flood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Arena's have lost everything, including their home and its contents and more importantly precious memories and photographs of their deceased daughter who was tragically killed by a drunk driver many years ago. The loss of their daughter left them trying to relearn a new normal and now they are faced with more
devastation at their fragile age of 78 and 79. At 5am Sunday morning water rushed into their home and they were forced to evacuate alone while having to wade through chest high water in excess of a one mile distance to reach a home on higher ground. Thank the Good Lord, they made it out safely. Pat is and has been suffering with a declining heart condition, most recently requiring a pacemaker, while Phil's eye sight is failing. Unfortunately, they do not have flood insurance, and we are hoping to raise sufficient funds immediately to help them restore their home. A lifetime of hard work has left them with only the clothes on their back. Any donation would be more than appreciated. Please share with your friends in the hopes of spreading awareness. Many thanks and prayers for all of those that are suffering loss at this time.
