Assist with Denise's Recovery

As most of you are aware, Denise was suddenly diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in March of 2016 which is a type of oral cancer.  Denise began her treatment back in April with surgery at Sloan Kettering.  After a succesful surgery of removal of the left side of her palate along with 66 lymph nodes, Denise was facing 32 days of radiation treament.  While at an appointment with the radiologist to set up her treatment he noticed something irregular on her right lymph nodes. A check up revealed the cancer had spread to the opposite side of her neck. The follow up resulted in surgery to remove the right side of all of her lymph nodes.

The surgeries have resulted in Denise not been able to eat which required insertion of a feeding tube in order to provide the nutrition her body needs to recover. There have been many road blocks along the way but we are hopeful that we are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Our circumstances have taken a toll financially on our family.  Don has had to take many days off of work in order to get Denise to and from her appointments, and to provide his wife the support she needs to get through this very difficult time. In addition, Don  and Denise are also raising their four year old grandson, Jeffrey. 

Hospital bills are starting to roll in and they could really use financial assistance. Please help us get Don and Denise the help they need.  We thank you all in advance for all of the prayers and love you have sent along during this journey.
