Forget the Flood

Please help my second family FORGET THE FLOOD! My name is Allison, and I have known the Elmericks for over 27 years. They are some of the most giving, caring, wonderful people I have ever met. I am beyond blessed to have had them in my life for so many years. Early morning Tuesday August 16th, the Elmerick household was overtaken by the once-in-a-lifetime flood that hit the South Bend area. The water completely took over their house, outside it was waist deep, inside it was thigh high. Around 2 am, Barb and Justin were able to safely get out of the house and to Dar's house down the street. Justin went back for the kitties of course! But, the house is ruined, the water consumed the foundation of it, leaving the basement exposed. They have pretty much lost EVERYTHING. Lifetimes of memories and belongings, destroyed. I am asking all of you to please donate what you can to help these amazing people forget the flood. FEMA is not helping, so WE need to help them rebuild. The money you give will help them obtain a new home, car, food, clothes, and all the other necessities that we can take for granted. It will mean so much to the Elmericks if we can raise this money, it will mean a great deal to me too because they are family to me. Thank you so very much for helping, they need all the prayers and love you can send their way. Let's help them forget this awful tragedy.
