Cletus's cancer treatment fund
Donation protected
Cletus has an inoperable bladder cancer called TCC, Transitional Cell Carcinoma. We found this out a couple of months ago when he was having trouble urinating and simpler diagnoses and solutions didn't help.
Note to dog owners: This type of cancer has been linked to herbicides and mosquito pesticides.
After a lot of research and consulting with different veterinarians that I know and trust I've decided that chemo coupled with acupuncture is a good option to give him as much quality of life and comfort until the end.
Unfortunately, before we could start chemo, Cletus developed a large aggressive and life threatening infection during his needle biopsy at an emergency hospital. This resulted in 5 days in ICU as well as a couple weeks of daily veterinary care for the large open wound it left him.
Though Cletus has rallied like a champ with much love and healed very well from his infection, it has been a tremendous set back both in his treatment and in my finances.
We need help.
We would be so grateful for any contribution, no matter what size.
What his treatment will ultimately cost depends on how well he responds, but my best estimation is $8,000-$10,000. I have already spent several thousand dollars to get him over the infection and stable enough to get chemo.
Your friendship love and support are also treasured and appreciated.
Cletus, Judy Patootie and I thank you with all our hearts.
