Help Scott Heal from DTLA Assault
Donation protected
On January 25, Scott Lankford was brutally attacked in the middle of the day on a well-traveled street (6th/Hill) in DTLA. This senseless and unprovoked attack was executed by a stranger who we have come to find out was recently released from prison.
Scott, a Marine Corps veteran, is a beloved member of our jewelry family. You may know him as your personal Parcel Pro collector (like us, we love him!) or you may recognize his kind yet intimidating visage from seeing him on the street in the Diamond District.
As many of us know, the streets of Downtown Los Angeles have been getting progressively unsafe, particularly in our Pershing Square neighborhood. The crime perpetrated against Scott is the most recent in a long line of similarly violent acts against those in our community.
People like Scott play an integral role in our lives, keeping us and our businesses safe, but who is looking out for our friends in turn?
Scott is just beginning his long and expensive road to recovery, we ask that you please join us in helping a beloved member of our community. The burden of care should not fall heavily and solely on his shoulders, but rest easily on many of us willing to step up and support a friend.
If you are unable to help financially, we ask that you help in other ways. Please help us lobby for change in the downtown Los Angeles area. Help us make DTLA safe and strong!
