Milan McGowan, an employee of Cedar Valley College and the Dallas County Community College District, lost her apartment to a fire on August 17.
Thankfully, no one was injured, and we are grateful that Milan and her daughter are healthy, safe, and have a roof to sleep under thanks to family. However, there will certainly be a long road to recover and rebound from such a loss.
