Susan Hunt Flood Recovery Fund

To all of Susan and Bob's friends and family out of town who have reached out to our family asking how they can help.   This is Matt and i am setting this fund up to help my parents rebuild.  As many of the homes flooded in this devastating storm, my parents did not have flood insurance and are on social security.  Their neighborhood has never flooded as many of the neighborhoods in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area.  Since Sunday morning when my wonderful wife Jeanne, woke me up at 5:30 am

 with the alert that she had read on Facebook that their neighborhood was flooding we haven't stopped.  Jeanne and i were able to get their car out before the water came up and were able to get them safely back to our house.  Now we are in the demolition phase and are seeing what damage only 6 inches of water can do.  Our main concern now is getting my dad back in his familiar surroundings.  Stuggling with Dementia he keeps asking when they are going home.  Mom would never reach out for anyone's help on her own so i am taking it upon myself to do it for her and dad.  Any friends or family from out of town who have asked to help, this is what they need the most.  To get the house repaired and get back as soon as they can.  We thank you in advance and continue to pray for everyone affected by this devastating disaster.
