Yancy Watkins

Yancy Watkins, is a Field Clinical Specialist with Edwards Lifesciences TransCatheter Heart Valves. We are fortunate to work with Yancy and have him as our friend and collegue.

Everyday he works with our Cardiovascular physicians, helping these teams to; ensure their TAVR procedures go well, that the devices they use are carefully prepared and that the patients treated, can benefit and have better quality of life.

Today he can use our help.  Yancy lives in Holden, Lousiana just outside of Baton Rouge.  Yancy's community was one of the most ravaged areas during the recent historic flooding that has killed several people, damaged many homes and led to more than 20,000 rescues. 

Yancy and his family were very fortunate, they were able to escape the deadly water with the help of the National Guard, evacuated and taken to safety.

However, the flood waters have taken many things from him in the last few days.  His peace of mind, his way of life.....His home is completely underwater, his vehicles gone, ALL of his possesions.... either destroyed or washed away. 

While we don't know yet what it will take for Yancy to recover and rebuild from this terrible tragedy, you can help Yancy and his family by making a donation to this fund.
