Terri Kimbrell - A fight for life
Donation protected
You may know Terri from Bandera, Texas. Where everyone knew her name. She worked at OST as a waitress for 20 something years and she got a chance to get to know many generations of people that came in there. She built a life long relationship with some of the funniest and kindest souls around . If Terri wasn't at OST you could find her at her 'office' ( she liked to tell me this growing up) which was the 11th street cowboy bar when it was still the tiniest bar in Texas. She enjoyed having fun and meeting people there. Always looking to have a good time . She loved her horses and I got the chance to go on a few trail rides with her as a kid. I can't tell you how much fun I had . Even though I'd cry in pain from riding a horse for a week straight . Anyway, she has lived in Kerrville, Texas now for 10 years with her partner Brent and their three wild dogs. She spends most of her time helping at the car shop and caring for her doggies that she love dearly.
I know this woman has touched many of your hearts and has helped through many hard time when people needed help she was there to do whatever she could to lend a hand. She would rally up folks to throw benefits for the less fortunate people that had troubles or who were sick. She has had the biggest heart.
This time she needs your help to get through the toughest years ahead. She has been given a life expectancy but we won't stand to listen. We are saving money to help her with expenses of transportation to San Antonio and Houston for more test and possible treatment of Stage 4 Lung Cancer . The Cancer has also spread to her hip where she has a fracture and it puts her in great pain. If we can make this a more stress-free process and give her all the support she needs the better.
Anything helps ! Even $5 is a generous donation to help with gas money or dog food .
Now is the time for prayer and time for friends to get together to help my mother.
