Many of you know my brother in law Donald was in a motorcycle accident on Friday night. He has a broken neck along with a fractured pelvic. He has a compound fracture in his left femur that has a temporary pin and bolt holding it together. His left leg below the knee was unfortunately amputated on impact from the accident. He also has missing skin and tissue on his left inner thigh that will need skin grafting and plastic surgery.
He is going to need multiple surgeries and therapy. We are unsure at this time how long he will have to be in hospital.
Donald and cherish have six children. They just bought their first home and we’re living their best life until it all got completely turned upside down. Donald is in Sacramento, 2 hours away from home. Between traveling back and forth cherish has had to request a leave of absence from work.
We are asking for any donations that could possibly help soften the load for them all. This way the focus can solely be on getting Donald healthy enough to come home.
