Help Avery Dance
Donation protected
My daughter, Avery, has loved dance since she could walk. We were not sure if she would be able to be a dancer because of her "disability". Avery is a congenital amputee and was born without a left hand. Despite our concerns we put her in dance and she lit up on stage. Our dance studio embraced her wholeheartedly and never treated her any differently. We knew she was handi-capable in every other aspect of her life and dance was no different. It was as if God meant for her to use dance as a way to encourage others to go for your dreams and never say "can't" when it comes to what you're passionate about.
She has been a competitive dancer for 6 years now and it has become her second family and her joy. There have been several hard changes in her life the past year and we simply cannot afford dance on a single mother's budget.
I have prayed that God would show me a way to ask for help to keep her dancing and continuing to be a part of her dance family where she finds so much joy and a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
Avery wants to use her dance as a platform later in life to encourage others like her and even teach dance to other children with congenital amputation.
Dance is more than just a hobby to her. She gives 100% in every rehearsal and performance and lives and breathes it.
I am praying that if you could spare any extra right now that you would help my sweet girl continue to do what her heart is passionate about and gives her the greatest joy.
I believe she was put on this earth for so many special reasons and I believe dance is one of them.
Thank you for listening to her story.
God Bless!
