Please help us raise money for Maria de Jesus Rodriguez (Chuy) and her son Javier who unfortunally both are fighting against colon cancer. Chuy has been fighting cancer for over 9 years and it has been hard on her and her family. Chuy has 5 children, 2 of them live in Mexico, and unfortunally their immigration status does not permitt them to be together with their family through this difficult time. 

It has been hard on the entire family seeing Chuy go through so many cancer treatments, CT scans, and hospitalizations. But it has been harder on her 2 children who live in Mexico since they are so far away. Last year in September her son Javier was also diagnosed with colon cancer. He has had 2 surgeries and keeps fighting strong. Javier now needs a 3rd surgery to reconnect his colon and remove a tumor that has been growing out of control in last month. In Mexico, most people don't have the luxury of health insurance, so his family has been having to send money over to cover all of his medication, chemos, surgeries, even the needles they use to draw blood. Now they need your help to paid for Javier's 3rd surgery.

Chuy's battle against cancer is still an ongoing process, She has 2 huge tumors that now prohibited her to walk. She is suffering not only from cancer, but from sadness, and frustration of knowing that her son is going through the same painful path as her. We want to help raise the money for her son's surgery and prepare for any unforseen complications.
