Marley's Emerg. & After Care Bills

My name is Tiffany. My ex and I were at one time both the owner of a 6 year old, female dog named Marley. My ex and I decided he would keep her when we went our separate ways a few years back, and he has had her ever since. I have stayed involved in her life, and am trying to help this sweet little girl in her greatest time of need. My ex is currently working out of town, and has limited access to the internet to make this page himself. So I am creating this page for him, as she needs help ASAP.
Marley was hit by a vehicle earlier this morning. (8/17) She was rushed to Singing Hills Animal Hospital in critical condition. After getting her stable, I was notified that she had a broken front left femur, and a dislocated rear left leg. I've already paid for the costs to take her from Singing Hills, to the La Mesa Pet Hospital, in addition to the costs for all the x-rays, tests, medications, etc., leading up until 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. I've already covered over $4,000 for the above described care. My ex/her owner is unable to pay for the cost of the surgery, medications, and after care at this point in time; which is estimated at about $10,000. She is currently doing well, but is in need of surgery as soon as possible. The doctors see her pulling through this. The financial means are just needed in order to do so. She is a sweet little girl, who is very loving, and affectionate. My ex is currently facing having to put her down if he cannot come up with the means to cover the surgery. This is a completely fixable matter, and Marley still has so much life and energy left in her. Keeping her alive and getting this surgery is a must. We really need your help to make this happen. Even a dollar can go a long way when everybody pitches in. We are desperate to keep our baby girl alive, but need any help we can get right now. Prayers included. Although I am not her owner, she will always be my little girl. I would be heart broken if she is not able to get the help she needs. At this point, my ex and I are desperate to keep this little girl alive, and get her back to being a pup again.
