My name is Marilois Snowman. Although I'm a Massachusetts resident now, I grew up in Louisiana, where many family and friends have been displaced from the floods. Several of  my New England  connections have asked how they might help the Louisiana flood victims in a personal way. This is the house of my sweet cousin, Katelynn and her husband Justin. Katelynn and Justin Cruice are recently married, expecting their first baby in November. They worked hard and saved for their first house, never imagining they would need flood insurance, since it was in a property zone with a .2-1% chance of ever flooding. Unfortunately, over 2 feet of water made their home a muddy lake. 

Any small donation will help them recover. All the floors and walls need to be replaced, as well as all their furniture. And probably dozens of other items I've failed to mention.
